SSC MTS Recruitment 2022
SSC MTS exam is a national level exam
conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for selecting candidates in
General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various
ministries, departments, and offices of the Govt of India. The candidates
shortlisted for multi-tasking staff posts are salaried with Pay Level-1 as per
Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission with basic pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay
Rs.1,800.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2022
SSC released SSC MTS 2022 notification on March 22, 2022, announcing
vacancies for SSC MTS Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) & Multi-Tasking Staff. SSC
MTS 2022 Exam (Multitasking Staff) is being organized by Staff
Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for various posts like the

Staff
Selection Commission conducts SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff Exam) every year in

has been announced the tentative SSC MTS Exam Date 2022 along with SSC MTS
notification 2022 on 22nd March 2022. As the official notification, the online

The number of vacancies for the Multi-Tasking
Staff will be intimated by SSC for the Age Group 18-25 and 18-27 lately. Last
year, a total of 3972 Non-technical vacancies were announced out of which 3266
are for the age group 18-15 and the remaining 706 vacancies are for the 18-27

SSC MTS 2022 Application Fee
The
Application Fee for SSC MTS 2022 is Rs. 100/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen
category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to
this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application
fee for SSC MTS 2022 exam.

SSC MTS 2022 Eligibility Criteria
There
are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill in order to be
eligible for SSC MTS 2022 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:

A
candidate is required to be
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin
migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka,
Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

MTS Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022)
The
age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User
Departments are:
i)
A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of
age, candidates born not before 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2004.
ii)
18-27 years, the candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not later than
01-01-2004
Apart
from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved
categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.
Havaldar
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2022)
A candidate must be of a minimum of 18 years
of age and must not exceed 27 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1995
and not later than 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply for Havaldar in CBIC and
CBN, Department of Revenue.

A
candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam
from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply
for SSC MTS 2022 Exam.

MTS 2022 Selection Process
The
eligible candidates for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted
on the basis of three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with
marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as

SSC MTS 2022 Exam Pattern
The
examination of SSC MTS 2022 will be conducted in 3 different levels:
Paper-1, PET/PST (only for havaldar) Paper-2 (Descriptive Test). Paper-1
is an online exam that is objective multiple choice question type.
Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination that includes a descriptive
paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies.
Paper-III is a skill test that needs to be taken at per candidate's
convenience.

entire Quantitative Aptitude Paper was Easy to Moderate level as
compared to other sections. The quantitative Aptitude section was lengthy. A

The
questions in the General Awareness section last year were Easy to
Moderate. The major area of focus this year was in the field of Static
GK, Science, Award and Honors, Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, Sports,
Important Dates & Days, Portfolios, History, Culture, Geography, India, and
its neighboring countries. Static GK was given a higher weightage in
the General Awareness Section of the SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam on 06th October
Shift-1.
